National e-Transactions Conference 2007

The Saudi Arabian government is aware of the importance of e-Transactions and the major role it plays in contributing to the national economic growth. Therefore Saudi Arabia will take full advantage of the use of information and communication technologies combined with organizational change and new skills. Towards this end the e-Transactions National Program, “Yesser” was launched as a joint program between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Communications & Information Technology Commission. These agencies are organizing The Saudi National e-Transactions Conference which will be held under the patronage of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, at the King Faisal Conference Halls in the Intercontinental Hotel, Riyadh. This conference will be convened from 14th till 17th of January 2007, and will be attended by high-ranking and prominent Saudi decision makers from the public and private sectors involved in the IT and Telecom industries.
